The Feast | Tree, Moss, Flower, Ceramic 2021
The physical form of plants is mainly used to express the eastern aesthetics of lines and margins based on Korean traditions. This exhibition reinterprets the harmony of nature from a modern perspective based on Korean tradition under the theme of Yeonriji(known as a marriage tree or husband & wife tree), which was created as a phenomenon that recognizes each other's differences in nature. In addition, the sacredness of the wedding ceremony, in which the opposite energies of yin and yang are making the complete balance and combination, is expressed in a spatial dimension through the application and adaptation of natural objects, further enhancing the meaning of the wedding.
