The form of marriage has varied over time, but the tradition of the ring exchange remains unchanged. The wedding ring, worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, indicates that its wearer has a beloved one.

I put the meaning of marriage ― that a man and a woman promise to live as one until death ― in rings that were created with a stroke of a brush. Its meaning is connoted in the single restrained line wrapped with five-color thread in a slit engraved on the surface and symbolizes that the couple wearing the rings will become one.
